She was two days away from death at an animal shelter, having been branded as “aggressive”. When Dick Palazzo took a tour of the building, he was drawn to the emaciated, but still beautiful stray German Shepherd. He looked into her soft brown eyes and knew she was misunderstood.
Dick, an experienced trainer and behaviorist, asked the shelter to give her “thirty days of grace” to stay alive while he helped her regain her health, trust and self-confidence.
He says the rescued dog, who he named Grace, “has been wonderful.”
Although happy endings for needy animals are far too uncommon, her story has given us the same thing Dick gave Grace...
HOPE.
